For God...

John 3:16, 17   For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

The phrase "for God" appears in 68 different Bible verses. Concerning God,  because of God, function of God, being God, constituting God, in honor of God....all phrases to mean For God. What if we replaced one of these different phrases in these verses?
In honor of God He loved the world so much that He gave his only begotten son..This brings Abraham offering his son Issac to mind......In honor of God.

Being God, He Loved the world that He gave His only son......Being God.
If the Bible were written today, I think that is the phrase that would be used....Because He is God, He gave His only son. The sacrifice that must have taken. To allow such pain, horrors, and injustice to be thrown upon his only son. My instincts as a mother, tell me to protect my girls from cruelty, to shield them all I can, to prepare them for when I cannot protect them, to teach them to protect themselves. I am no different from other moms in this. That is our nature. Their dad's nature is the same. He would die for them, so they could live. He would take their place gladly in death. That is a parent's job, to protect their children from other people, from the world....from themselves sometimes.

SO what kind of sacrifice would it take to be able to give a child, born from your body, to die for the entire world's sake? It's difficult to comprehend. It's almost impossible to comprehend. For me, it is impossible. But with God NOTHING is impossible. No sacrifice is too great for God. Just like no sacrifice I make for my children is too great. No sacrifice God made for us is too great. All we have to do is accept it and doors open, prayers are answered and life is renewed.

Think about that. If God can sacrifice his son to save our lives, then what else could possibly separate us from Him? It's not Him separating us. It's not His will that we be away from Him. It's our own selfish, ignorant will-Our pride. That's what separates us. It's what separates us from living life to the fullest. It's what separates us from each other. It's what separates us from Him.
His will is for us to live in a creamy chewiness within His Love. His will is for us to love each other as He loves us. To be willing to die for each other. To be willing to sacrifice for each other, as He sacrificed for us.

1John 3:16, 17 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

Remember: Talk to God....He loves your voice, and he made it just for you to be heard by Him.
Acts of Random Kindness (ARK) can save someone's life someday....but most of all Go Be Physical!! You will feel better today, and tomorrow will be too late!!
Peace.
